Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. All items may only be returned for store credit (no cash refunds). Customers are responsible for return shipping (we do not provide a return label at this time). 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please review your order confirmation upon receipt to ensure the correct shipping address has been provided. Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses are eligible for store credit or reshipment once the package is received by our admin office. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Once your package is received, please inspect your order and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you!

Your order's safe arrival is extremely important to us. Kindly note that Cindy Jane Boutique is not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. If your package is lost or stolen, we encourage you to file a claim with the carrier directly. We are happy to provide any documentation or further assistance that you might need with this process.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Non-returnable & non-refundable items:

  • Returns postmarked after 30 days of delivery date
  • Items that are worn, washed, damaged, altered (including items that are returned with animal hair, scent of smoke, makeup, deodorant, perfume and/or other misc. stains) 
  • All "sale" section markdowns
  • Any items marked "final sale"
  • Bodysuits, hats, belts, accessories, hair accessories, jewelry and intimates
  • Shoes without their original box. Box must be free of damage without stickers or postage stamps.
  • Shoes that are scuffed or show signs of wear

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
We accept exchanges and handle them a couple of different ways. The fastest way to ensure you receive an item or specific size that you need is to place a new order for the item, then initiate the exchange by emailing us at info@shopcindyjane.com. We also process exchanges in a different format where you initiate the exchange, mail it back to us and we mail your new item to you upon receipt of your return. Please note that we do not hold or reserve stock.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Store Credit-Only Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if your store credit was approved or not. If approved, your store credit will be added to your account within 10 business days.
